Fishing with the boys

,We were sooo not in the mood to stay indoors yesterday--at all. How could we? The weather was gorgeous outside. We woke up pretty early too which makes for such a long day. And I wanted to soak up every minute of it.

Our dear friend Steve from Trudge Photography agreed to take family photos of us early in the morning. I couldn't pass this opportunity up. Trudge took our family pics when D was only 4 weeks old and they turned out beautifully. I couldn't wait for him to take pics of us now--6 months later.

We headed out to Papago Park. We love it there. They have beautiful ponds for people to fish in, Hole in the Rock and Hunts Tomb. Soo much to explore and a great reason to get outside.

Steve took some amazing pics of us and I cannot wait to see them. We were finished before we felt the sun starting to burn our faces and we drove over to Harlows Cafe for breakfast. I love this place! The food is amazing, the service is quick and the portion sizes are enormous--all worth it.

It was such a great day to go fishing and feed the ducks so we drove over to Dobson Ranch so the boys could go fishing. They didn't catch anything. But no worries, we don't eat the fish once it's caught. We throw them back in the water.

Little A and I spent some time feeding the ducks. And believe me, we had tons of bread to give them. I always keep a bag in the freezer of ALL the ends of the bread loaves....that way, when you are on-the-go to a park to feed ducks you have bread readily available.

We had such a wonderful day just enjoying each other's company. Isn't that what a family is all about?
